Audio Book Professional Idiot: A Memoir with Free EASY Reading!

I'm finding this to be a very difficult read, not because this book is anything short of skillful, honest and insightful, but because I wasn't prepared for the man behind the cultural icon. This is an astoundingly raw and detailed look into Steve-O's life, and it's impossible to not empathize with him after reading it. This is a man whose level of unhappiness, discomfort in his own skin and sense of otherness was so profound that it is almost inconceivable that he turned into such a wonderful person. The way he owns his story, even when it gets ugly (and it does), really speaks to who he is. What is even more telling is the level of self-awareness he's accumulated throughout his life; I can't think of another book I've read that demonstrates the author's understanding of himself more clearly. I consider this to be conclusive proof that change and recovery are possible. It's also a searing reminder that there is always more to a person than you can even begin to imagine. Proud of you, Steve-O. Seriously.
