This was my first true crime novel and I was delightfully surprised and couldn't put the book down. This is a well written true crime saga of a factual cold case of two sweet hunters. Being an avid watcher of the ID true crime network, I hoped all the way through for closure for both families. The author helps you go through the grueling process from evidence to leads to the eventual trial. You feel like you're right there with the lead investigator as everything unfolds. I recommend this book to anyone, even those who enjoy fiction as I normally do. It shows you that heroes do exist in our legal system and she justice prevails. You will not be disappointed!
